Tuesday 6th January
Berties
... the first one of the year ...
Usual times (8pm til midnight) and prices (£3.00 before 9pm,
£4.00 after).
From 8pm til midnight,
Gents ... no trainers, jeans of any kind, or
sportswear, and shirts must have a collar.
With Clive providing the music
tonight, it
should be another great night for meeting old friends and new beginnings
Wednesday 7th January
We're at the house tonight, for some music and nattering, perhaps a game of pool, scrabble, jenga or whatever. From 8.30pm, and £3.00 please which includes some food and all soft drinks etc. Please Note: This is the last Wednesday here for a couple of weeks;- I'm off on holiday at the end of the week !
Thursday 8th January
Back at the Wantz tonight, in
Wantz Road, Dagenham, for our second weekly dance club night. Our own
Dj (Clive tonight), cosy dance floor, very reasonably priced bar, and lovely
atmosphere. From 8pm, admission is £3.00 (but ladies pay only £1.00 before n9pm).
Smart jeans permitted here, but absolutely no trainers or track suits.
Saturday 10th January
Please Note: I'm
off on holiday for two weeks on around the 9th January, so there'll be no Wednesdays
or Saturdays at the house during that time. Tuesdays at Berties and Thursdays
at the Wantz will continue throughout, so you can still meet old pals and make
new acquaintances ... it might be chilly, but at least the nights are getting
lighter now !
I do hope you all have a Happy
New Year, full of promise, with your dreams bearing fruit,
and that it's
filled with happiness, good health,and love.

come to some of the social nights ! Our dances (Tuesday
& Thursday) are open to all (provided you're sociable, and
dressed appropriately); for other events you need to phone me,
unless you already belong to the club, or are on our Web
